TLDR; our services come from a love of streaming and streamers. We want to help streamers be successful and see this industry grow. To that end, we will NEVER farm or sell our user data. If it's not good for the streamer, it's not good for us.
Information Collection and Use
A user is required to provide certain personally identifiable information, such as social media profile information and a valid email address. This information will be used to identify users, provide StreamSocial's described services, and may at times be used to contact users.
By using the StreamSocial service, users acknowledge that this personal information may be collected and used to provide service, log user activity in relation to the service, and contact the user if needed.
What information we collect and store
Personal information
StreamSocial will collect personally identifiable information in relation to third party streaming services (such as Twitch, Mixer, or YouTube as examples), third party social media accounts (such as Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook as examples), or streaming service provider accounts (such as Streamlabs). This information will only be collected with direct authorization or authorization through a provider such as purchasing a StreamSocial subscription through the Streamlabs App Store.
Personally identifiable information can include, User IDs, Screennames, Usernames, Email Address, Gender, Stream URLs, Logos, or Avatars.
Log data
Whenever you use our Service, we collect information that your browser/ device sends to us. This data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, operating system version, content of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on certain pages, and other statistics.
Service activity data
Service activity data refers to all the information we log and collect about the user's activities when making use of certain features of the Service. That data is gathered from the API of streaming services or social media services who generate such data.
Third party service providers
We employ third-party vendors to facilitate our Service; to provide the Service on our behalf (such as Cloud Storage), to perform Service-related services; and/or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
These third parties are instrumental to the development and improvement of the Service. To perform tasks on our behalf third parties may have access to some information collected by us. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we strive to delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.
